While on leave: Philippines - Krispy Kreme

The Lasallians will get a kick out of this.  When I was there in Manila on leave, two Colleges were actually going through basketball championship finals.  Basketball is HUGE in the Philippines!  Anyhow - the two schools that were facing off were La Salle University and Ateneo.  La Salle's colours are - Green and White; Ateneo's - Royal Blue and White.  Well who just so happened to be walking around with his 'Brother Arthur' DLS House System shirt at the Mall?!  And - Brother Arthur's house colour is Royal Blue and white!  Well, when I walked into a Krispy Kreme at Megamall - the manager there (an Ateneo fan) saw my De La Salle shirt and began teasing me about it... like DLS was buckling to Ateneo and using their colours!  We had a laugh about it, and consequently, Ateneo was being sponsored by Krispy Kreme, I guess... because they had a special edition 'Ateneo doughnut'!  I couldn't resist but buy one!   Check out the Ateneo colours on that doughnut!  The manager and I became quick friendly rivals (and I got special 'front of the line' service every time we went... it was the only place with WiFi)  Haha!
